I am not a reliable BLOGGER

I thought i would be way better at blogging than i have started off to be. But !! I guess this just means i've been super busy with other things! I kept a journal for 15 years when i was young. Then, i got busy as an adult and never did again. So, here i am doing this Blog thing. I will write as i am inspired! Here's a link to a video of some pictures i made in Utah several months ago.
Since then, i have been to Kauai (not a photo trip) and had lots of Christmas and New Year's events! I went to Cleveland, Ohio of all places! and I've made a bunch of visits to our grand baby! Things in McCall are so much fun and there's been plenty to keep me busy here. I visited my sisters in California ~ and loved every minute ~ even the hussle bussle as a change from where I live now. While in kauai, we met a little white street dog as she was out on a day outing. She had spent her entire life in the streets and never had a home. She had been at the shelter for only one month. We impulsively decided to adopt her and have never regretted that! She is the softest little velvet pillow and has the bravest disposition of nearly anyone i've ever met. What a go-getter!! I'll leave you with a post of a few picture of her, and her two LARGE siblings #boomermcbride and #blazemcbride
Hopefuly, i'll be back to write soon. I have some fun photo trips planned ahead!!
I scribbled a few thoughts about my time in the snow with my Doggies
Walking in my snowy wood
The crunching snow sounds like it should
I take each step in my old boots
While singing songs way out of tune
There’s no one else around to hear
Except the occasional bird or deer
And of course my best friends ever
Who join me in my fun endeavors
The crispy flakes of floppy snow
Stick to my face and the ground below
My curious canines run and play
And investigate everything today
With snow upon their little ears
They run about without a fear
They smile at me in their own way
and pause to see if I’m okay
I laugh and tell them they’re the best
As we hike up a little crest
White bright meadows stretch before us
Makes me breathe in deep and hush
The calm serenity that surrounds me
Settles my heart so I can bee
The branches of a Douglas fir
Quiver and whisper in allure
The heavy snow drops from their tips
As if to offer up their kinship
I pick it up and form a ball
A game of catch and free for all
What fun it is for my three dogs
Creating their own eclogue
This story in their souls they own
About the days we three have known
